W. Park McGehee, MD
Dr. McGehee was born in Greenville, Alabama and attended Auburn University where he received a B.S. in Chemistry. He went to UAB Medical School and did his post graduate training at UAB, Baptist Montclair and Baptist Princeton. He has been at IMA since 1978 and his practice is restricted to gastroenterology and hepatology. Park is married to the former Catherine Deaton and they have four children and one grandchild. He enjoys hiking and camping in the national parks, golf, reading and his cabin on Lake Martin. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology.
